Good News, Everyone!

After over a year of writing, rehearsing, performing and recording, Zubatto Syndicate's first record is here. Mostly.

I have decided to release the record digitally first, as a way to generate some word of mouth and to hopefully raise the funds to cover the production of the physical CDs and LPs.

And now, the plea. If you are the recipient of this newsletter, than chances are high that we know each other, or that you have come to see a performance by this group or one of my other musical endeavors. Whether you knew it or not, you are the vanguard of Zubatto Syndicate fandom. Which is awesome. I am grateful to each one of you for your continued support and kindness.

Here's the skinny. I need to sell at least 100 downloads or pre-orders in order to raise the funding needed to finish this project. That's not very many, if you think about it. I know that there are 100 of you right now who would love this record. It is loud, funky, crazy and just plain fun. I need you, my biggest supporters, to help us over the finish line. Just 8 American Dollars to help support independent musicians trying to bring new music into the world. A few dollars more if you want a CD copy or a Double (double!) LP.

Many of you have already lent your support to the project through Kickstarter, and have already heard the record. Please consider sharing links on your Facebook pages, blogs, Twitter or with the guy behind you in line at the grocery store. I want as many people out there to hear this record, but I need your advocacy to make it happen.

Making this record is a colossal step forward for me and the band and big things are underway for later in the year. Release party news will be coming very soon.
