Vinyl Fans – We Need You!

Posted by in Blog, Zubatto Syndicate

Almost a year ago, I took to the internets via Kickstarter and asked my friends, family and non-affiliated fans to help out in the production of Zubatto Syndicate’s first recording effort. The response was overwhelming and helped us get into the studio and begin the long process that has led to the release last month of the record. Each milestone has proven to be a unique challenge, but none more so than the pressing of Zubatto Syndicate on vinyl. I knew that releasing on vinyl was going to be a lot of work (and a lot of money) but I underestimated it on both counts.

The vinyl is so close. I have 9 boxes of double sleeve, full-color jackets piled in a corner of my apartment. The order is pressed and waiting to ship from the plant in California.

However, I am short the last few dollars need to finish this last piece of the project. Sigh, I know. I am once again asking – if you own a record player, and are a fan of cool vinyl, or if you know someone who loves to spin the records, please pre-order a copy of Zubatto Syndicate directly from us today. The record comes as a double LP, complete with gatefold jacket and insert. All for the low low price of $25.

I only need between 15 and 20 more vinyl pre-orders to cover the last expenses.

When you order the vinyl, you’ll get an immediate download of the record and I will ship your record to you the moment they arrive here. If you aren’t into vinyl, you can also order the record on CD or as a digital download, naturally. You can also make a tax deductible donation to the Zubatto recording project through our fiscal sponsorship with AMC. We also have cool t-shirts for sale.

The jackets look amazing. The vinyl sounds fantastic. You will not be disappointed.

Please share this with anyone you know who enjoys cool music on vinyl. If you are reading this thinking that to spend so much time, energy and money on a project and to end up a few dollars short is the height of irresponsibility, I can only assure you (in good humor) that you are reading the wrong blog.

Thanks again for your support in making this project possible.
